What is Zirconia ZrO2 ??

** Zirconium dioxide (ZrO2), occasionally

renowned as zirconia, is a white crystalline oxide

of zirconium.

** Zirconium dioxide is one of the most researched

ceramic materials.

What is Properties of zirconium dioxide ??

** untainted Zirconia when warmed moves through

disruptive phase alterations.

By supplementing little percentages of yttria,

these stage alterations are eliminated, and the

material has better thermal, mechanical and

electrical properties.

** A exceptional case of zirconia is that of

Tetragonal Zirconia Polycrystal or TZP, which is

indicative of polycrystalline zirconia composed of

only the metastable tetragonal phase.

** untainted ZrO2 has a monoclinic crystal

structure at room temperature and transitions to

tetragonal and cubic at expanding temperatures.
