What is health informatics??

** Health informatics is the study and submission 

of procedures to advance the administration of 

persevering facts and figures, health information, 

population data and other data applicable to 

persevering care and community health.


Bioinformatics - the use of health informatics 

procedures to facilitate study in molecular biology.


Clinical facts and figures scheme - any data 

scheme worried with the arrest, processing, or 

communication of persevering data.


Algorithm - a method for bearing out a convoluted 

task broken down into easy conclusion and action 

steps.


Clinical informatics - the use of health informatics 

procedures to help administration of patients 

utilising an interdisciplinary approach, 

encompassing the clinical and data sciences.


Computer dream (image understanding) - the use 

of computer techniques to aid in the 

understanding of images, such as mammograms.


Database - a assemblage of facts and figures in 

appliance readable format coordinated so that it 

can be retrieved or processed automatically by 

computer.
