What is Computer-assisted surgery (CAS)?

** Computer aided surgery (CAS) comprises a 

surgical notion and set of procedures, that use 

computer expertise for presurgical designing, and 

for directing or accomplishing surgical 

interventions.



** Computer assisted surgery has been a lead in 

component for the development of robotic surgery.

** Computer aided surgery, computer aided 

intervention, likeness directed surgery and surgical 

navigation, but these periods that are more or less 

synonyms with Computer assisted surgery.


-- Diagnostic, preoperative designing, surgical 

replication

-- conceiving a virtual likeness of the persevering


-- likeness investigation and processing.
