types of blood cells.

HOW MANY TYPES OF BLOOD CELLS WE KNOW?

three types of blood cells:

  1. red blood cells (RBCs)
  2. white blood cells (WBCs)
  3. platelets

Red Blood Cells:

Red body-fluid units (erythrocytes) are formed like

slightly indented disks. It contains

hemoglobin.body-fluid gets its brilliant red color

when hemoglobin choices up oxygen in the lungs.

White Blood Cells:

White body-fluid cells (leukocytes) are a key part

of the body's scheme for keeping safe itself

against infection.body-fluid comprises far less

WBCs than red body-fluid units, although the body

can boost WBC output to battle infection. New

units are certainly being formed in the skeletal part

marrow. White body-fluid units called granulocytes

and lymphocytes journey along the partitions of

body-fluid vessels.Certain kinds of WBCs make

antibodies, exceptional proteins that identify

foreign components and help the body decimate or

neutralize them.

Platelets:

Platelets (hrombocytes) are minute oval-shaped

units made in the skeletal part marrow. When a

body-fluid vessel breaks, platelets accumulate in

the locality  and help close off the leak. .Platelets

and clotting components work simultaneously to

pattern solid lumps to close leaks, wounds,

slashes, and cuts and to prevent bleeding interior

and on the exterior of our bodies.
