What About the ABO blood group system?

** The ABO body-fluid assembly scheme is the 

most important body-fluid kind scheme in human 

body fluid transfusion.

What is Difference between blood AB and O?

** The distinction between body fluid kinds has to 

do with the kind of antigens on the red body-fluid 

units and the kind of antibodies present in the 

body fluid.

** Kind A body-fluid has the A antigen on the RBC, 

and the B antibody present in the body fluid. It is 

the converse for kind B.

** Kind AB has both A and B antigens. There are no 

antibodies present.

** Kind O body-fluid is the converse of AB body-

fluid.O comprises the antibody for both A and B 

blood.It has no antigens. It is for this cause as to 

why a individual with kind O blood can only obtain 

kind O body-fluid, but anybody can take kind O 

into their body, kind O is the universal donor.
